You know how enemy models are invisible at a distance based off of their size? IE a station is viewable from a lot further away than a dreadnought?

Well I think you should have the option to have ships viewable from very far away.

They will be visible against a bright surface (not a coded in effect, just reality), and not very visible with their engines off. Only dreads and stations will be visible from truely far away.

Main thing is I wanna be able to see things like this.

Many people out there have the machines that are able to number crunch enough for this to not be a problem.

It just looks cool, IMO!

Of course it's ludicrous to have it not be an option...
