I love tactics, I'd vote 5, slow the game down a bit, If Darkspace were more like say.... homeworld 2, (which is an great demo so far!) I'd be 10x more happy with the game. Which is not to say I don't love it now, I do, but I'd love to see more tactics in the game than we currently have (instead of one on one dogfights)

Im gonna have to go with 5 here...Out of every game ive played this is the only one in which a ship smaller than a Dread can take one out on its own without any support, in all the other games i played, the main ships (Exp. BattleCruiser-HW2-, Destroyer-FS2-, Heavy Destroyer-IW2-) are extremely hard to kill one on one with a smaller ship

5...

In Halo the Pillar of Autumn held out against 12 superior Covenant ships for however long it took you to get thru the level... and killed 4 before it wrecked.

~Really... if you want a fast-action shoot-em-up game, get like Quake or Duke Nukem... heck, even the Asteroids suggestion earlier would work.

Seems like an overwhelming vote on 5, so bump bump bump it up...

The combat speed on current ICC/UGTO frigate and destroyer level battles is perfect.

Something to get the modded versions to equal that would be great. And also the K'luth gameplay model would need tweaking.

4.5
