Apparently someone needs to read their history books over there. Maybe you should look into that some more.

well anyone have an surgestion what to do with my 20miil credits
any zone like this could be surunded by priates gaifens and other nasty things, so it would be dangerus moving in and out to the zone.
and another thing all factions use each others tech why not make it trade goods (smuggler goods if you like) and make it the only way you can get it (ballance issiue)
dont even try to start war history discussions on this subject lets keep this sane plz i can sertanly begin to talk about who is selling weapons to who , where do you think the explosives alquaida uses come from ?
its something with states in the name, i stop before i get hot an steamy but i think you get this point.

hmmm...
okay ingoring the flaming users and such an idea has popped into my mind
A trading black market
it's a win/win
why? t shuts up peolpe about countrys at war taading goods, i'm SURE their was blackmarkets trading goods.
How would it work?
the first idea is another server that allows no firing, building, no inf abord ships, or tractor beams. if the ship has any of this, it would be removed, however this might take some coding. you would go to a single planet that has one starport and everyone would trade their. it would be just one CB and a starport. their you can trade with whatever you like. it would be like a real blackmarket, because if you click on something and sombedoy clicked first, you don't get it
also, if another server can't be made how about just a jumpgate to a MV server (from homeserver) that is exactly like that stated above? (of course, for you "realism people" it isn't as real as the one above, but still a good plan B)

If my post came off as a flame it wasn't supposed to. Either way, seems there are some people out there that don't like the U.S.

I like the idea of a black market.
I do not like the idea of an ORGANIZED black market. It just doesnt make sense.
So perhaps the way we have it now will be fine. Find your own contacts and then negotiate your own price for buying from them and selling to others.
Ive been doin it for awhile and its fun. I just dont think flying up to a station and buying stuff like you do from a planet is fun.
Just my thoughts

Yeah madcow, the current way is probably best if trading is to stay. Without safe zones of course That way your partner may be attacked if you both get caught, and maybe even you for being a traitor

This is getting a bit out of hand.
Trading with the enemy is not ment to be part of the game!
It is something that occurs through a 'loophole'. It seems to be getting out of hand and prolly will be watched more closely now.
You can attain Enemy Tech using 'legal' methods. So there is really no reason to do it by trading.
locking thread.
