Ok we all know the boarding issue.
drop inf on an enemy ship and they wreak havoc on it.
now why cant we implement the oposide?
Board a friendly ship and the inf start to help fix the systems.
maybe 5-10% per inf on all systems.
It could be used to jumpstart a ship.

ummm, maybe if they're part of the Engineer Corps
Otherwise, i wouldn't expect a groundpounder to know the difference between a plasma conduit and a self-sealing stickembolt
