also, it should be Fore mounted, but with a MUCH narrower radious then normal Fore weapons.... or better yet, have it as seperate ship. Like just the Supercannon ship , or the SC. 4 armor for each side, 1 engie, 1 JD, and one heck of a weapon....

overall, they're good ideas.




yeah i suggested that too. let is hit incomming missiles or fighters too.

i propose bring the damage down by a lot but let the recharge time be 1 cooldown time be 1 min. let it be something that cannot be locked onto a ship. like a dumb beam that u would need to aim yourself. duration could be set to 10 secs

supper cannon ??
i posted some time back a supper missile
moves at like 20 GU/s is the same sige of a dread and is fored of a frigate sort ship (basicly a aim and fire missile
the litle firgate only has one drive, jump drive and a CL ofr point defence
consumes about the same of jump feul as a station and moves just like a dread (when not fired
when fired the missile starts moving and the litle firgate can safly jump out or just manuver to frienly units
it holds just one other weapon a verry special one the detonation of the missile the missile isnt fired at a target is it manual detonation

just think of this a dread filed whit explosives you fly it and you just abandon ship on a docked frigate and move out and when the dread is in enemy lines / range
you pull your remote detonator

the dammage sould be somthing above the stations SD maby 1.2 to 1.6 times the station SD
