cites lack of direction and what is essentially a boring *real life recreation* concept (IE spending hours of modding to put a tiny little pellet launcher on your head to scare away the baddies)
just fix the tutorial, make the play button bigger, and get that darn patch out and i think youll get an Editors Choice (90%) or atleast an Excellant (80%) review from em

tried Eve for about one week....10% from me, because the graphics were nice. But that was all.
I think DS would be still more interesting in 5 years....without the patch
And D0M...eeerrrm DOM, I fully agree with ya, I hate it, too when people cant see the difference between Letters and Numbers....

What do you expect for a game that was and still is essentially a BETA in release. The game has no business on the shelves yet. Buggier than anything Ive ever seen.

Eve online... Umm it's on shelves but cost over 60$CAN(okokok it cost 80$, tax included in quebec) AND u have to pay 12$ per month to play... i better like to play ENB or DarkSpace since they cost LESS than that

Did some beta on Eve - nice graphics, that's about it.
BOOOOoooooring - mine forever and get a few creds - or jump all over the place buying cheap and selling expensive - all to get a bigger ship... because:
There is no skill in that game - whoever has the bigger ship/bigger gun wins - PERIOD.
I much prefer this game.
Also tried Freelancer - didn't like the interface with the AI people - although I kinda liked the combat better. Also had pretty good graphics. Someone here also pointed out the real problem with that game - it starts off with a Presidential Capital ship being blown up by a few fighters with missles. Rrrriiiiiigggght.

Guess thats possible, i mean heck, they had Torpodoes with a damage of 5000 to hull and like something thousand to shield. One of those could take out a fighter. So what happens if a wing of fighters fire a torp each? And usually a Wing of fighter in FreeLancer was like 3-5 fighters? heh thats an aweful lot of Hull damage. Even takes out an entire fleet of DS Dread with those.
Oh, i think i am on the wrong discussion here...
