i my self find that friends are not to eager to buying online or subscribing online whit games
so i thing we must have some simpaty for them
so i sugest:
an option to buy a Coupon for a friend to try out Darkspace
i my self think this may be nice since i have a friend who just likes the game but just somple wont buy anny thing online
so i told him how about if i pay you for a month and you try it out
he told me that he would like that
but how would i do that
than i was thinking about the free month of the DS retrail 
so here is a sugestion
relocate it if you like but i would love to see this comming

I saw at the store you could buy a 1 month sub for PlanetSide for 12 Dollars and It was a scratch card with a serial number under the metal stuff i think. Maybe something like that so they dont have to show their Credit card num.
Like the coupons in the box, but you can buy them separatly

uum. Firestone.. correct me if im wrong but.. wouldent cupons give palestar the same ammount of cash that subscribing VIA the game itself??
so i cant see why the new players wont be able to pay this way.. i for one would love it as i aint giving out my CC number online.... for any reason...
and i would have little trouble in paying a tad extra for that.. lets say 15 US$
having this for subscribed players only is kinda bad imo. as i bet more ppl would acually pay then...

i have got about 4 ready timed DS'ers standing by but the only thing the dont like playing DS
the like the game and would like to pay but the just say
ya but than i pay 3 months and it isnt worth it
what if my bank acount gets riped
etc.
and i know from my own that i didnt wanted to get my bank acount misused or even know how i could subscribe (i dont have a CC)
until backslash[NL] told me how to do it safely whit even my own bank
wel the idee was from a friend who asked me CAN you pay for me
there was the idee
ok ok maby a badd idee to only let subscriben have acces to it
but you have to say if we let every one to it
the may even like 1 week play 3 week no play 2 week play 6 weeks no play 3 month subb
and when i say this it dousnt sound like a good idee but
than if we only let subscriben acces that is badd as wel :S

I think the logistics of a coupon system are beyond the one man operation that is faustus. Think of all the costs involved in printing, shipping and making them secure. Alright for big software companies but not for one with limited resources.
One alternative could be to just use bank transfers or direct debits, these must come with some serial number that could be used as proof of payment. Again it would require some work and the creation of a database and the constant monitoring to make sure faustus was getting paid.
Why dont you encourage your friends to lose the luddite attitude over paying by things on the internet. After all its becoming fairly standard practice and the credit card companies protect you against theft.

DrarkSpace Counpons are made online and are also send online.
All you gotto da is type the number into your subscription and done.
Any Publisher/Developer/Anyone would would print these things onto paper and send them somewhere is stupid :/
Edit: Coupons have been in Ds Ever since it went reatail you know.
They are currently used as Rewars for Fleet Wars, Other Competitions, etc.
