The word blasphemy means:
"To speak evil, to rail, slander, to speak injurious of another."
Another term used for this is backbiting.
Speaking behind another's back is to do them harm
It's generally used in a Religious sense, but it basically just means calling someone an ass, either to their face or behind it. The intent is the same.
