Based on this logic....restore old krill to many core weps but with spread arcs also?

The Krill is definitely getting a layout redesign. As are most of the other dreads.

apart from the talents these ships will be assigned based on class/tier will the base ship and weapons be changed alot from currently used ships?
would it be safe to assume that the ship itself may not be all that different from the current one minus the new talents they will be provided for instance would the current parasite be any different in its DPS capabilities, movement, range, energy.
could u reference Spec's of current Parasite and proposed tier 1 Kluth Cruiser (parasite) assuming this information is allowed to be provided before a final design is chosen?
also will this be the same for all ships or be dependant on review of each individual ship?
im just thinking this honestly will only help to educate the newbies and/or ignorant players who refuse to learn their ships and classes/roles
im glad however to see Chief Marshall and Marshall be given a purpose and possibly reducing the of people "spamming" certain Resiliant and Stronger Vessels
if im wrong please do correct me but this is how it appears to me sofar, regardless anywork and time put into DS is appreciated by me thoroughly

All depends on how they're propelled out of the launcher.

torpedoe = self-propelled warhead
only other way to launch it other than igniting its engine is to catapult it, which probably wouldnt generate recoil either.
only get recoil out of weapons using combustion to propel a projectile out of a barrel, since the explosion pushes equally on the plug of the barrel as on the projectile.

Yes, new enhancements are being planned, but I don't believe they are tied to the Ship Tier system at all

Actually that brings up a question I've had for a while, are we going to see any enhancements for the nonstandard damage types like psi or are those covered by energy/kinetic?

I don't understand the question, weapon enhancements increase the damage of the ship's weapons regardless of what damage type they are.
It does make me ask if we can actually make enhancements increase the damage outout for a specific damage type, while penalizing another. That could lead to an interesting new set of Enhancements...

Yeah that's what I mean. Enh for specific types of damage instead of just beam or projectile, but I'm wondering if stuff like psi, EMP, and ELF are lumped in as just "energy" or can they be modified separately.

PSI, EMP and Elf are their own damage types.
IIRC the full llist of damage types is: Energy, Kinetic, PSI, EMP, and ELF. I may be forgetting some.
All weapons are just different combinations of these damage types. The PSI cannon for example is PSI/Kinetic while the Chemical Beam Laser is Energy and the Fusion Torpedo is Kinetic/Energy and so on.

I thirst to see tier II or III layouts of supplies, transports and engineers.
I have utilized them more often than destroyer & cruiser. In facts, I always use at least one of them every time I join game.
They're obviously important ships in game to all players and NPC.
Can we have a look at these utility classes? [ This Message was edited by: DiepLuc on 2013-02-28 14:06 ]

Oh, and by the way? That game where you guess a ship tier, type, faction and role combo and I'll give you the layout if there is one? That's good for everyone, for the rest of the thread.
