I used to have lag, but now its minimal. occassional spikes that i can happily live with.
Since the latest update, all is well in my lagg free zone.
And i have a pants computer, a standard DSL 150 connection and am based on the other side of the damn planet.
I have played other games and lag is an issue, greater than DS.
People seem to get into this "its not my fault i have the latest, carlos fandango computer with the latest vid/graphics/uber mega drive" mentality.
Sorry but even with the latest Uber comp and mega faster then the speed of light connection you can have compatibility problems.
Drafell summarised it very nicely, check your basics. Once the basics are ok then look further if you still have probs.
PS: Faustus can i have your babies??? It would appear according to my wife that i spend more time in fronty of your little programme than i do with her. So she is going to cite you in the divorce papers.

OMG....poor Downey.
Don't know about enough comp things anymore to figure this out...I did all of the things suggested and got a bit better performance. Fighters still shut me down when they swarm. I can at least play most of the time now thanks to those suggestions.
As for Lag verses FPS...I honostly don't know for sure. I think its lag. Now, where that lag is coming from is anyones guess...I will admit that my ISP SUCKS big time! However, I LOVE beta as I have 0 lag of any kind. Americas Army, Project Entopia, Terra and A Tractor have very little lag...AA being the worst.
I already listed my comp.
I read all the posts here...seems like a lot of lag.
Beta, Beta, Beta....
