I am sorry for the absence from my writings... I would like to announce I am alive and well with no more holes than what I was born with.  Anyways we did have one casualty... our detachments laptop... It met with a small training accident...  While tossing stuff around our work area (we were looking for something) one of my teammates threw the offending object (a fully rigged flak jacket) a little too far and subsequently knocked our laptop off the table it sits on. Well lets say Dell makes a great laptop but whomever they use for their Hard Drives leaves a little something to be desired. It dropped maybe 3-4 feet and well, the HD died.... I about had a heart attack since "The Forgotten Fleet" is, or should I say was, stored on that particular HD. I was devastated till one of my buddies on 2nd Team (I myself am on 1st Team) found a little 3.5 Floppy with "The Forgotten Fleet Save Disk" written on it... Long story short I now have a copy of chapters 1-20 but have to retype 21 and 22.... Luckily I have the outline still on paper. So it will not take too long to retype and get it out to you. I once again apologize for the delay of the story. I will also be bringing home video clips and pictures of my journey and will be posting them for the viewing pleasure of all. Now back to rewriting 2 friggin chapters. I am going to frag someone for this... LOL

Glad to hear you all like my work. I was releived, as I said, to find a disk containing all my original work (spelling errors included). I actually though I had lost that disk but someone actually picked it up and held onto it thinking I might need it later. I am glad they did.
I don't think I am "The Great One" but I am happy you think I might be one.

Now back to my typing.... LOL

Yup, I am also glad to be back. I am currently rewriting Chapter 21 and have even decided to include some additional content into the chapter to help move the story along. It might be a tad longer than average but I feel it needs to be that way. I am also going to have to print out my story so that I can read it as I type this Chapter.
I would also like to remind all those reading that if you would like to be included in some way I really need a little blurb about your character. Maybe a little background or tendancies. Maybe a bit about how you came to be where you are now. I could possibly even use that background as a way into a side story. I have already done this for one person and now he is a Frigate captain. He was a Scout ship captain in a little story of his and I wrote him in even though he still thinks it should turn as fast as a scout. LOL
I hope you will like the up coming Chapter "The Sins Of The Father"
I will try to have it done as soon as possible.
