One of my fleetmates was having this error(client 3016 error) and we couldn't seem to be able to fix it. I also tried searching the forums and couldn't come up with anything. Any Ideas?

well you get credit for originality at least.

i dont see anything in the source code about a "client 3016 error" and wherever the number 3016 turns up, its part of a larger (5+ digits) number other similar peice of numerical data, rather than a text string

This sounds like an error being thrown by something we're using in the engine, rather than the game or engine itself (ie, DirectX).

Could you please post the contents of your Client.log within the .Cache/DarkSpace directory so we can have a better idea of what the problem is.
