I can hear music just fine in game, once in a blue moon I can heard a special effect. Such as collision alert or a torpedo going off, but basically I have no sound.

I have tweaked with the different sound options, chaning voices, Khz, Channels, disableing music etc ... Nothing seems to work.

I have the latest drivers for all my hardware, I always keep up to date.

I have the following info, I can provide more as requested:

You are not zoomed in far enough, the further you zoom out the less sounds you hear.

Disable HDMI sound-out for your GPU in the device manager (ATI Cypress - High Definition Audio Controller).

Also seems you have no audio driver installed.

"Speakers" should read "Speakers (AUDIO_DEVICE)" (for example, mine is "Speakers (VIA HD Audio)". Looks to me like you need to install your mobo chipset's audio drivers.
