I'm a newer here and i just downloaded the client.But whenever i start to launch the game,it begins to update and get stuck after few seconds!what should i do?Is that a connection problem?

Can you give us more information on the hardware you are using, including your operating system etc.

actually i'm using a thinkpad z61m.
enough?
perhaps it's not a hardware question but a connection one
because i'm in china mainland...maybe i should try a proxy.

i clicked the link on the left.
then i choose FileFront Mirror.

Your ISP might be blocking certain methods we use to update (does your ISP block Skype calls?).
Could you tell me at what part the update gets stuck on?

i can't tell you acurately,sometimes 1.x MB sometimes only several KBs...
i also tried downloading the DARK SPACE(BETA),but this doesn't work.
I never use Skype,so don't know.

Thanks a lot,all answerers.I finally decide to give up.I think it's a ISP problem that we can't solve.you know,i'm living in a blocked county where you even can't visit youtube or twitter.-_-
