I got my friend to check out darkspace for the first time. When he starts up and attempts to login to the lobby, his client crashes during the process of logging into the lobby. With no message the client has crashed. Hes tried everything to get it to work and is not sure whats left to try.

i know this sounds odd but get him to do a clean up disk and defrag his computer and reinstall darkspace worked for me once apon a time like i said sounds odd but works

Make him download the 1.483 installer.

what download source did you use, there might be a faulty download

make sure all his drivers are up to date on his computer. Sound/Graphics/etc. etc.
Sometimes that can be an issue.
