like the topic say when ever i click on a ship i crash totaly hard power off
this is easy to recreate on my os i have done it multiple times with difrent vid settigns
my os specs are as follows
os win2k pro
512 megs generic pc 133 ram
amd 1.2ghz tbird radeon 64 ddr vivo video card 100 gigs hd in 3 drives 2 20s 1 60 all maxtor 7200 rpm drives dma 66 enabled on all drives
on board sound on a epox mobo
cpu is not over clocked by god if this system cant handle this game then no system can heh

might be a ATI Radoen Problem, they are erronous (?) and seem to be major pain in the *** sometimes. Have a look around in Bugsforum for some other topics concerning ATI gfx-cards.
Also have a look at the Knowlegde Base, there might be a hint.
First offhand thing I can think of: Newest gfx drivers?

yep new dx8 drivers and all that good stuff
had some isues with the second to newest when i installed dx8 so i updated to newest
and that cleared up my other isues not with this game but with aw a 3d chat room and other games
other than that ive never had a single isue with my ati radeon i may try installing on my other system wich has a voodoo 5 5500
i dont thinkk this is a vid related problem though as i dont get the normal symptoms like garbage on screen flickering etc
also no lag though this game is def a mem sucker heheh nearly as bad as tribes 2
