I noticed when I log into the actual play area, my windows "virtual memory is low" warning comes on. I don't actually see the change (sysmetrix says I have loads left) but when I log back off it goes away. I have 512 MB of RAM and 2 GB of virtual. Just FYI in case it matters. I don't know if it's a code thing or not, but it doesn't happen on the current release version. Thanks for your time.

I noticed that when I logg off and log right back it doesn't do it.

This is a windows 98 bug. Unfortunatly the only known way to fix this is to reinstall windows, as one of the core system files is curropt. If you are not running windows 98 ( I havnt seen this bugi n year since I moved from 98), try changing your page-file memory space to something like 756 > 1024 mb.

Windows 98/98SE both have problems when running with 512mb or more ram making the operating systems unstable and giving you weird errors like 'running low on virtual memory' and just generally crashing at innopportune times
This is due to Windows 98's lack of support for more than 512mb ram.

The fix....

Visit http://aumha.org/win4/a/memmgmt.htm and pay particular attention to Exception No. 2 and possibly Exception No. 3 as well (IE set your maximum Virtual Memory to just under 512mb). This should hopefully resolve the issue you are having with the virtual memory.
