for those long jump, time is displayed in minutes:seconds, rather than just seconds

how about we go back to the old way that doing a e-jump makes your jump drive damaged and need fixed lets say it takes it down to bout 70%

We'd still need the 1/10 of a second time, makes jumps almost seem fast.
P.S.
Why are tach drives worse than antimatters?

Having it all in seconds is Palestar's contribution to improving math skills everywhere.

It would be cool of jump drives speed was altered a bit.
An idea would be - just for the sake of realism - that jump speed would rise exponentially.
For example, instead of immediately jumping to 3000gu/sec...
Your speed would increase to that (rather fast, like within the space of a few seconds).
Wormholes could be changed so that instead of instantly appearing somewhere, it would be like a much faster jump drive.
But im wandering off, random ideas. ^^

Agreed.
