If stuff is listed in alpha, it should either have been implemented or in the process or being implemented. All the stuff there now should really be in a TODO category. Kinda like all the fighter improvements that spent months in alpha, but disappeared.

Anything in Alpha or Beta is subject to change... Anything, marked released is reality.
We use the development log to basically communicate our development goals to the community, if we have to remove features or move them off to another version then we reserve the right to do exactly that. Yes, sometimes we put stuff in the development log we plan to implement, nothing wrong with that.

the Development log is not advertising.
Theres a reason for the word Development being put it

Welcome back, Tracker. As a seasoned veteran of DarkSpace, you should know that the Development Log has always been used as a representation of what's planned for the next version; a list for players to easily consult and look forward to.
Ironic that someone such as yourself would be the first to challenge it.
