Hey
I'm sitting in england, and I can't join the chat, write messages to the clanmembers / friends etc, which is really annoying!!!
So, i had the idea, if it could be possible to write / get messages if you log on in the DarkSpace side... like a separat chat programm?
So, you can write important news to the clan, without do this in the forum (which is often open) and you can get a fast answer if the player is online...
Whats your opinion about?

i already made this sugestion a long time back
just the chat lobby's only
why installing DS on every school computer im on isnt simple
especialy when DS wil be removed at night
there was a way to just execute gcql whit a cople of files but i never try'd it + i already forgot how
but i would like to see this

Way back when, I actually wrote a Java based client that worked with the old BBGC server backend. I'm sure, a java chat client could be written for this lobby as well.... not to mention Chromix has already finished YAM (an instant messenger) as well.
Perhaps it's time to release YAM?

yeah... would be very nice... but it would be better if i dont have to install this yam...
because here, its forbidden to install programms....

yeah i am... the only problem ive got with coming to you is that i dont know where portmout (dont know how its spelled) is, and i dont now if ive got time to come...

My school doesnt allow us installing stuff so i the Personal messenger thing would be useless, and we already have GCQL...

well i'm pissed. i can't get to the site at my school its banned ( for being a game GOOD GRIEF) anyways if you do get a YAM? going or another chat could you make it on not www.darkspace.net (so i and maybe others can get to it in school)
