o wel there is currently only one dump fire missile
so if we intend to make more smarts than why not add a dump fire missile
maby a ugto missile system
Damage: 750 / 1250 (per missile)
Travel speed: 30Gu/s
Ammo: 10 (in salvo of 4 missiles)
Range: 850
Reload: 14 / 18 seconds
dump speed : 0.2 seconds (time between the fired missiles)
Energy: 0.8
these are total dump missiles and do not even track the target before firing like the sabolt
just fly to your target and fire
UGTO are a weapon offencive faction so i think this may fit them fine
the low dammage is becous of the 4 missiles fired in volly
just think of all 4 missiles hit is 1000 * 4 = 4000 thats like a current IT
but think of that is it a total dump

heres an idea...
ICC/UGTO nuclear missle (alternative to PCM)
damage: 7000 / 8500 per missle
speed: 40gu/sec
ammo: 1
range: 15000gu
reload: 60 secs
energy: 5.0
can damage planets, also cause twice the damage as the PCM and has an EMP effect like the nuke mine

ammo 1 atleast give it 2 ammo and a greater reload like 120 seconds
atleast than you have somthing for the reload other wise its fire and out of ammo so nothing to reload for

The idea is good but its just like the sabot.
maybe sabots should be put in both human tech trees

im talking about a UGTO dump fire missile
sabolt is a ICC dump fire missile
so why hasnt the UGTO got one
maby this is somthing for the UGTO
and to add it wil deference from the sabolt becous it wont have a firing arc
becous it wil only fire at one direction (full front) so you have to face your target
but hold twice as mutch fire power ot the current sabolt
thats what i would like to see

firing arcs are mount dependant, not weapon dependent, for the most part...

I was reading thru some old logs and i noticed gideon talking about a phoenix missile.
I also remember hearing that one in some fan fiction.
Now i dont have the details on that weapon * if it exists/development * but i would like to suggest that the Phoenix will be the UGTO's Anti capital missile * UGTO tech only *
they dont have the extremely long range missile thats the UGTO's drawback but they do have one BIG short range bang machine

Now a planet with Cataclysm IT missile would be nice.( That just what I like to call it.) They would go upto 1500gu and go 30 velocity and do a damage of 2500 and disable all ship JD. Decloak anything within 250 gu of the blow. That make a good Anti Kluth def missile making it hard to get up close once hit by it. I say ICC would need this missile. ICC AD can have up to 2 ammo of this missile with a 60 sec reloading timer and a gain of 15 power for reloading.

Havok Nuclear Anti Ship Missile:UGTO Only
a highpowered anti ship missle slow but hard to destroy very deadly causes extreme damage on impact 2nd only to PCM guidance system not designed for plantery bombardment but can be used in that role provided that a fighter paints target with laser

range 2000 gu
damage extreme
warhead 5 megaton nuclearwarhead
weapons slot Heavy weapon
5 missiles per launcher

a UGTO rocket that u have to point directly get outta here get a ugto version with sabot with bigger warhead unguided and u dfon't have to turn ship to fire ok thats all i gotta say
