I think it would be a good idea not be on SY.
Sometimes 1 player need an enhancement. I have in my garage but.......
10 - is uncomfortable going to the ship yard.
20 - need drop all i have in my ship for obtain free slot.
30 - parking in the ship yard.
40 - begining to find the enhancement
.......
oops , i forget what he need !
50 - switch to chat and begining to call ..... oops who was he ?
60 - exit from ship yard
70 - call ! hey boy , what are you are need ??
....
go to 10
wow like a programing in "Basic" 
Meanwhile the game is in progress and i lost 10 minutes or more and maybe a good combat for try to help at other player.
Whatever, we need more simple trading that is not required to be in the game.
Maybe here, in the forum or a separate module where the player, offer or ask enhancements.
And a good list from things in the garage.

hmm i do like the idea of not going to the SY for trade of ehn also i got some ehn id like to trade for creds and i really want to get rid of the dumo upgarde build drone been sitting in my garage since like forever and its taking up space if any one wants it trade 50 creds for it other wise ill just remove it or give it to an AI enggy
