Earlier today at 7:36 PM Eastern, [=KSF=]Daylight (The Begining), (Yes the person everybody loves, the guy who whines about how he can take Exathera in CD-36 in a Hive and wishes that there would be some ICC to make it a challenge.) logged after being chased by myself, [S.W]AdmBito, and [TK]Jim Starluck. [S.W]AdmBito was in an interdictor, I was in an Assault Cruiser and a Sensor Scout (To Becon the fool.), and [TK]Jim Starluck in a fully modded AC. We finally got him down to 50% hull and he logged. Need Proof?
(NOTE: Have to go, will post images later.)

He lost more by logging.

I see no problems with logging so long as they are in a position that would take years to find. They lose prestige for damage, and if they log in battle- anyone notice how people only complain if they dont kill them in that minute ?

logging sucks unless, like the previous guy wrote, you are in a safe spot. however it would be really cool if logging cost like 1k or so prestige....then somene might really think twice about it.

I log too...due to comp problems, last time I logged in the orbit of Ihzack, when it was hostile as a Battle Dread with no enemy around and our troups capt the planet within the next minutes (Note: My troups)
I would like to stop that but I have no idea how

Of course, Logging is a lame way of playing.
People who log get an unfair advatage over the enemy.
If the logger dies within the 60 second log out timer then nobody cares simply because the logger lost his ship and his advantage.
Baaaaaannnn aaalllll Loggggeeeerrrrrsssss!

if u get in a situation when escape is impossible, (due to bad navigation or plain unluck) u DESERVE to die. if the enemy know where u are and CAN kill u, then u should die. loggers is imo the worst kind of players in DS, if u cant afford to loose the ship ur logging in then dont play it. and NO the "credit cost of modding made me log" excuse aint working.
if u get in a situation where u have 0% chance of escaping in a NORMAL way, IE emargency jump or whatever, then u SHOULD die. logging is just a pityful excuse of saving ur precius ship.
and to answer someones question about logging in combat, No, i have NEVER logged out in a combat situation. coz if the enemy tracks me down then they deserve the kill. no matter what i have on that ship.
Disclaimer: this is NOT a flame on the said logger in this thread, but to ALL the loggers in DS!
