i disagreed with that Sono, i didint like it either when Kluth sat there at that time, it was the best chance we had, but thats what happens when there is no1 there with a Leadership role, and when some1 trys to step up they dont get listened to..but tonight was fun also, alot of fighting and dying and capping and dying, and fighting, and dying...you get the picture

my personal analysis of the battle of epsilon eri
it was the Icc push into kluth space that halted the task was for us to prevent Icc and ugto to move further and into Procyon system the task witch we succeeded in.
holding eri from get over taken by both ugto and ice same time took a lot of time and ships.
less than 48 hours ago the system was completely without kluth planet support except maybe one .
Icc had won the spawn rights to the eri system and it would have been easy to block the single jumpgate route from proycon to eri that way forcing kluth to use time consuming jumpgate bypass jumps.
Ugto was moving in the system to, making it more complicated to decide for holding strategy or attacking
At that point the Icc should have ignored any kluth that was left in system and moved on to proycon system , this is the way the kluth would do in my experience, use the advantage that an full spawn route to move the battle away from newly concurred systems.
but it was here Icc failed to do this move, giving us time to slowly take back what was lost and i hope Icc will learn from the mistake
we all had more fleet action from this than in months so be happy about it

Speaking from the ICC side, Ragglock was very correct. During the first night of the conflict (right around the time Sono left and I came on my second shift) we had capped all of Eri except a deathstar, and the uggies had the most numbers they would have for the conflict. We had about 10 k'luth actually on the run, and they were camping Procyon gate on the procyon side. It was here that everything went downhill. I'm gonna make a post about it, but simply put, we failed miserably. That was our 1 opportunity during the whole invasion to move into Procyon.
Arghhhh.

that omy/nm battle in eri went on for hours.. more than 12 hours straight... sometimes kluth outnumbered ICC... sometimes the ICC outnumbered the kluth... neither did anything when they had the chance so shaddawp =P
besides, how can u say you were there the whole day.. i only saw you once for 5 mins.. and i was there for 6hours
All in all it was fun, even if sono is insane.

shesh i was there for 12 hours .. and man there was hardly a dull moment .. that night i tallyed 18 kills to 4 deaths.. successfuly lead some assualts on Kluth planets when the system greened we split up tasks between defending the awful long ground battle on Talaz.. which after a successful save 2 hours laster by the kluth the ICC managed to cap it.. but no kluth besides 1 managed to get close enough to the planet to tell about it.. lucky little clavate caught us with no ship there and our guard down.. we finaly got it though .. as i raized half the planet then the Kluth scrapped the rest... not to mention the battle is still going on .. TS made a strong pressance with a total of 10 ships on an off .. 6 more constantly then the rest.. as well as other ICC fleets making a great showing..
oh an Eri will fall then proycon... If we keep at it... heck the whole Kluth space..then all we have to do is sit around and exaughst your supply of ships with troops in the garage and whala....
