Sorry that i missed the dev meeting, i was at my college ( Music of the world and its history ) class, a late PM boring class...

I readed all the dev meeting log, I am glad to see some my concerns that were evoqued by Tael will now be reduce to a normal ( nonabusive state).
This includes the bombing points that are presently way to high and that some players are taking advanage of it by gaining ranks in a matter of time that some of us (like Jack told) took time to gain...

Im also glad to see that conflicts like the rescent concern of players about FS personal decisions to lock planet to stop new players from building deviced that are not needed or just that they are made in a over production of it.

I have problem figuring out how it will work but it will greatly make it easier and will avoid conflicts like we had.

Venus is an arid planet right now, if I'm not mistaken, not Terran. And according to the game history is was terraformed to some degree to make it livable on the surface. Just stickler for detail, I am

Toxic planets are all well and good, though. Venus isn't Terran, but its not Toxic (anymore) either

3 points:

1: Not our fault for dev's not fixing the problem immediatly
2: A lot of ppl earned there points fair in the previous versions
3: We loose a lot already to neutroning cause the game is so damn lagy (I myself have lost around 50kpres this version bombing and have always used neutrons)

True, there r ppl who mirv, fighter bomb and faction hop to do it again just for pres..but they r using the best method to gain pres atm so we cant really blame them.

regarding this bomb stat adjustment thing, aside from wether or not any such adjustment may or may not be made, shig has sketched out a loose set of parameters whereby most of the older bombers (minus an exception or two) will remain largely unaffected, something on the order if your bomb stat is more than 50% of your total pres, you'd be looking at a stat reduction

personally its too late to wipe or edit peoples bombing stats.

mines crap anyway but still the bigegst pres i have over all others

And it's lost more because of it.

Think about that. You'll maybe lose 6-7 people, those of which have abused bombing, and shouldn't have. You've lost a hellovalot more people than 6-7 because of those people who bomb.

yeah true but im jsut not going to build that pres up if its taken away i dont bomb that much at all prolly one planet or two a day and most of its in admiral,i dont want my stats touched! period.

Thought the meeting went well. Gave me something else to read besides the bloody novel I typed last night. Did have a question; the question was answered... so I wasn't ignored in my point. Was pleased for it.

Glad to read that, eventually, I'll be able to kill a scout in something small than a dreadnought again in a timeframe that seems more logical.

Would not have a problem if bombing prestige is left unedited. I've managed to come to terms with the idea. Bombing wasn't made illegal. In my eyes, there was as much of a ban on bombing enemy planets as there was on logging out a ship in Sol and spawning it two minutes later in CD*36. The ease of bombing has annoyed me... but, as long as the power of bombs falls, I'm completely fine. I don't need more than one build. I don't need construction prestige raised. I don't... need fighter lag reduced. I just... would like the power of bombs to fall, and I'm content.

And... maybe the ability to... not fall victim to the jump bug...

I put my trust in Tael because I still see it fit to give my trust. I know what's going on, now. Maybe this is just a bilking, extortion-like operation to get more money out of people without them knowing it? *shrugs*

Just got to follow through, kids. Follow through.

Imao leave players pres only if they are bombing whore o well it's against the RoC to tell someone what to fly or use in ds.
They are here to have fun in their own way not for someone else.

To be honest I jsut want to see something done so this can be over with. I think everyone will be much happier when they dont have to talk about it on a daily basis. I would go either way, I talked to them about reducing my stats at one point and they said no.

Lets be done with it and get the new patch out and working.
