I know WinAmp is no longer a big deal these days. AOL mishandled the property once it acquired it...

But back in the early DS days we use to have player run Radio Stations using WinAmp and other software to play music and interviews with other players and the Developers.

December 20th, 2013 WinAmp is effectively being killed off and the website shutdown.

You have until then to download the software if you like, for nostalgic purposes...

Ah the good old days,
WinAmp was one of the best, if not the best around back in the day.

I mean, WinAmp was once the king of audio software. Just like RIM, AOL hadn't made precise change fast enough and hence Winamp falled behind iTunes.

WinAmp is not Snow White, yet is poisoned by an apple.

I still use it, it's got the easiest to use playlist management of any media software I've seen yet. Long as it still works going forward I suppose *shrug*
