The Myrmidon Legion Has Gone Public!!!
Hello fellow Darkspacers. For the past couple of months The Myrmidon Legion (ML) has been planning and working on taking our organization public. We are quickly spreading the word and spreading into other games. ML, while originally created for Darkspace, was always intended to be created as a multi-gaming community. Currently we are spreading into Planetside 2, Defiance, Star Wars the Old Republic, and of course Darkspace. Upcoming games include ARMA 2&3, Firefall, Star Citizen, and many others. We also play games, mostly through steam, with each other just to have fun and blow off some steam.
If you are interested in checking us out and getting started with us then please join our website at www.myrmidon-legion.enjin.com there you can fill out a Membership Application and become a member of the ML group. You can be fleeted with another clan in Darkspace or be fleetless and fill out the application. All the application will do is give us a little background information about you and allow you some additional access to our forums. Other perks will be coming as our membership grows. The website is about 80% complete so feel free to pop on in the forums and post suggestions or post in the shoutbox and just say "Hey!"
Also we would like to announce that we have a public TeamSpeak 3 server up and running. The host name is ml.enjinvoice.com no need for passwords! Currently it is a 50 slot server and in a month or so will be increasing in increments of 50 slots till it meets our demands. There are no monetary requirements from ML members but donations are always accepted to help keep up with server costs. Paypal donations can be sent directly from the website. It will remain public, unless you anonymously donate, to keep accountability.
In the near future we will be setting up other Applications on the website to get some server staff (ie Moderators and Admins) for the website and TeamSpeak. If you are interested in becoming a staff member with us then logging on now and becoming a member would be the best idea.
We look forward to seeing you and welcome all people, suggestions, and comments!!

You must be doing something right as well as bringing more people to DS. Nice one!

Howdie all!!
Just wanted to stop in and give an update and say HI to everyone 
ML is doing very well. I will provide all of our log in info at the bottom. We have grown to 160+ members now and have a total of about 300+ in MMO's that are in our guilds but not official members and we have 100's more that play on our servers and are not members. Some of us do miss DS and check in often to see how it is doing and really hope some day that it will become active again. FTL has merged into ML in preparation for Star Citizen to release but they also hang out with us playing other games. We have also absorbed a few other clans.
Again I wish to mention that it does not matter what faction you fly for in DS anyone is welcome to join us in gaming and if you want to join ML that is fine too. You do not need to change anything in DS.
I am always looking for leaders, developers, and people who can script. ML is now an established NPO. The Myrmidon Legion Organization INC. Even though we are a NPO we still remunerate our staff through money, games, computer parts, and other things. If you are interested in joining the team then just come looking for me on our TS or you can email me at challenger@myrmidonmail.org You do need to be at least 18 years old this is due to our NDA system and the laws they fall under. We can make the occasional exception but there will be a different rule set for those who are younger.

We are currently adding ArmA 3 Altis Life server and look to add more soon!
We utilize dedicated boxes straight form data centers so there is no middle man or loss of server control.

Thank you Kratas Definitely miss you buddy lol
We are in negotiations to add yet another Rust server to our list. It is a PVP/PVE server focused on resource gathering. It is the top US server and the top unmodded server in the world..... Sigh another Rust server
Also I have been in talks with Lee who is the Public Relations Officer for The Stomping Land and we are going to have at least 1 dedicated server for that game as well soon. We just upgraded a box at our data center in anticipation of being able to host this.
Our ArmA 3 Life server is up and running and we will be drafting notices soon to try to search out staff members for it. We have begun work on editing the server from the base version from Tonic.
