On a side note, has anyone ever noticed that the original Grand Union Flag of the United States and the Ensign (flag) of the East India Tea company are one and the same?
I do believe the tea was supplied by the very same company however they were not permitted to fly their Company ensign past their base island of St Helena on the return journey laden with tea from the East Indies. There they changed to the Ensigns of the British Merchant Navy. By coincidence or perhaps design St Helena was also the island where Napoleon was held in exile. East India was the first Corporation equipped with its own private army trading in goods from the East to the West and vice versa. Nasty, ugly, ruthless history involving plenty of Gunboat Diplomacy and cloak and dagger stuff.
So to summarise. The original US flag with Union Jack and its 13 stars and bars representative of the 13 colonies in revolt is the same as the trading flag of the company which supplied the Tea to Boston Harbour. Interesting, check it out for yourselves...

Mine too, but I still intend on going out and buying some tomorrow.. mostly because im cheap and they will be half off ... oh and the city is doing fireworks on friday instead so that helps too

BBQed some pig and some chicken, and deep fried some catfish. Had French fried taters, baked taters, and Cheesy Taters, Chips and dips, Baked beans, corn on the cob, hushpuppies and LOTS of sweet tea, Homemade Icecream (peach) and BEER! Then me and the Ex GF went off into the bedroom and had our own little fireworks display.

Yes the Colonies were QUITE rowdy! yes by god we were!
This morning my Colon was quite rowdy  as was my stomach... and my head... >:) and the Ex GF... ya know, I really should just throw those bedsheets out... most of that aint gonna wash out anyway.

LMAO Feral, The Fiance and I are hosting a pretty big cookout today. There is 2 smoked hog, 5 smoked salmons, grilled meats of all sorts, the typical burgers and hotdogs, french fries (of course), twice baked poataoes, pleant of side dishes, Liqour and beer (that was a given). Sweet tea numbering at about 7 gallons. We have hired a D.J., our garden people have trimmed the yard and pathways, the pool is sitting at a comfortable 82 F. Yeah guys this is going to be an awesome night.
Oh and before i forget Caitlin has bought a brandnew string bikini, just to raise the jealousy there Jack
