I was bombing skyline in r33 once, and after destroying a generator i recieved in this order: Bronze Bombing, Bronze Transport, and Sirius Combat Medal. I'm super confused on how i got the tranny medal when im bombing and not using troops, any ideas?

were you in a group. when you arein a group you get some of the press for what they do.

damn, i gotta fall outa character cause im to lazy to relog....
okay: obviously u where near the planet u where bombing. Did u know u dont have to transport infantry to capture a planet? just watch how some enemies do it.
what probably happened is that the planet you where bombing got captured by your friendly ships orbiting the planet. if u are also near the planet, you will get 1 planet capture point

Well this might not be entirely true. Allthough quite a good explanation. The server in the game awards all manner of badges that don't show on your online profile. For example: my ingame profile says i have silver star, when I don't even have silver trans or bomber.
So yeah it could be a bug.

yeah that happened to me before i got gold and silver star so it probably a bug...

Transport award depends on number of planet that you've captured. Since 1.67, you don't need infantry to capture a planet. Perhaps you had captured the planet but you didn't notice...

the Gold/silver star one is known about i think, at least it happened to me like a year ago.
what probably happened is that you already had the tranny badge, but it announced itself when you got the Sirius badge.
Either way, it doesn't matter much.
