ive just realized, that the credits section of the player rankings is a good indication of how much money DS has made over its duration.

Nope! Much credits have been spent already, so it would be near impossible to calculate exactly how much. Additionally, sub numbers have changed greatly over the years, further complicating things. I doubt you could even come up with an accurate ballpark number.
