I'm preparing to reformat my machine due to a corruption of a large number of .dll files, one of the effects of this is that I can't open Outlook Express without getting an error and termination.

I've been able to access the address book and have saved that, but is there any way to save the emails I have without having to open OE?

Thanks in advance.

have you tried reinstalling windows or doing a sfc /scannow in your command prompt? (windows xp only for that last one)

Even if you could they're saved in encrypted form, and can't be opened by a text editor or even OE from a different install.
