i was looking at a whole bunch of gaming keyboards this morning. was wondering if anyone had either of these and was a better choice. both look pretty sweet but i noticed that you have to buy covers for the zboard for $20 a pop. any info woud be appreciated.

z-board really isn't anything to cheer for, especially because of those 20 buck cards....
The g15 is a decent board, good ammount of programmable buttons for macros(15 to be exact) but some games consider using them cheating i remeber reading about someone being banned from eve or wow for using one. plus the paint peels off some of them(guarantee replaces if it does)
razer tarantula is another one to look at, a newcomer that's got nice reviews and quality should be top notch. can also be equipped with a light or webcam.

I've had the G15 for about 4 months now, and it hasn't let me down. One seriously awesome piece of kit.
However, the LCD screen isn't much more than a bit of fun, and quiet honestly, I hardly ever use it, bar from seeing how much memory I've got left, and what time it is (which are quite useful if you don't have a clock, and you're interested in your PC's remaining resources).
If you do not want the LCD screen, the G11 is exactly the same (including macro's, which are awesome by the way), and is slightly less money (includes media buttons too (which are awesome as well)).
G11/15 all the way.
