Ok so heres my idea, i thought it would be kool to have a flag ship sort of thing, one type for all factions... but only the original creater of a fleet could get one. Now befor you go yelling and screaming about the fact that everyone would go out and start random fleets, we could make it so that its only avablable to them if a certain number of thier fleet members are in the MV. Just a thought leme know what you think

not a bad idea, could use a bit of tweaking but most people would agree that fixing the lag and a few other minor issues must take precedence over implementation of new ships

Yeah, but some fleets, like S.W, do not have an original creator in the database - the function wasn't implimented until about a year or two ago.
Other than that, great idea

i think there should be faction flag ships. And people could vote who gets to fly it, and they must have gold star badge and GA.

Are all meant to be the flag ships of their respected faction, hence they're the only 'assault' dreads in-game (no-matter how broken they may be).

No, the nub (like Veron) was suggesting a ship more powerful than all others, that one person would be able to fly.
As this idea has been continually been brought up, it cannot be feasibly put into Darkspace, since everyone would want it, and would be nearly invincible, it could not be made balanced without it being just like any other ship, thereby making it pointless.
Jack stated that the assault dreads are like flag ships and they are somewhat meant to be that. But as for 'flag ship' I think the only thing it would be neat as is as an asthetic feature designated in a group of people (if grouping ever comes back) the leader.
But thats it.

First off, enterprise and jack never post any more
second- this is a good idea but to would be pointless because the fleets we have now are pointless, i could see this idea being implemented if we had faction wide fleets and the player with the most influence would get to be the flag ship of the entire faction, that players ship wouldnt be super like some(enterprise, jack, all geeky mods and admin that scream balance) would think it could simply be an advanced version of a specific class armed with more special weapons and special shields and engines or simiply just have a faster fireing rate versus other ships in its class.
Third- never post an idea i always will twist it into something that immpossible ti introduce into the game.
