The surprise ending is you feel better about having narrowly avoided sitting through a craptastic film!

ill spoil it. After the very last credit, there is a clip where there is some guy laying in a hospital bed with a nurse, and he wakes up and speaks with Prof-X's Voice and the nurse calls him Charles. Picard comes back from the dead with his uber-pychic powers.
OOhhh Ahhh.... oh well.

It was in the cinema, too.
In no way made up for the rest of the film, which was rubbish.
