i dont know why but she's been acting really witchy the last 2 days, getting up on counters, not eating well, having a fever, and finally having a fit, i got her this lil whip type thing and i've been using it on her playfully but she no likey. i dont know what im gonna do she's been acting really disrespectful lately, i flick her on the nose, i slap her (not hard). i cut her nails and well lets just say she's beyond ticked off, she bit my arm and took a large chunk of skin with it. it could be because she turns 2 today, and when i got her she was 1 year 8 months old so could it be the terrible 2's? if so im in for one rough year -.-. and she's limping around like i did something to her front paw, ugh. i need some help guys i've never dealt with a cat alone before -.-

Take the thing to the vet. Doesnt sound well. Could be an abscess or infection. Maybe why shes got a sore paw.
Use water spay for naughty cats. NOT A WHIP!!!!!!!!!!!

flicking a cat on the nose is the same as punching a man in the same place, no matter how gently you do it so no wonder it's not too happy

and a cat's nails are not supposed to be cut, they keep them at right lenght by scratching stuff like trees, furniture and humans.

goth, DO NOT declaw your cat.. with a bit of work and a $20 cat scratch post, you and your pet will both be much happier.. speaking from experience with two 30 lb indoor cats at home

My cat turned seventeen with my 18th 5/5/06, and she's still kickin'... figured out how to chew her own claws down by biting em, maybe your cat will too...

Sounds like your cat got an illness, or ate something that does not agree with it.
ENSURE ALL HOUSE PLANTS ARE NON-TOXIC. A cat naturally grazes to help clear their digestive systems by throwing up. Also, when they start making the motions, quickly remove them from carpet...
Declawing cats is unneccessary. Get a scratching post. YOU MUST TRAIN THE CAT TO USE THE POST, ONLY. Using water will deter them from valuable furniture. If necessary, place the post near something the cat likes to scratch, esp. if its furniture. Then get the cat to switch to the post. You then may move the post away, SLOWLY, and the cat will follow. This way you do not have to sacrifice your furniture. If it doesn't work, get some cat repellent, or cover things in plastic or aluminum foil. Cats don't like the feel of this stuff, and will leave anything covered in it alone.
Be sure to keep your cat entertained as well. When they get bored, they start missbehaving. Much like a little kid does.
