alot of people have wondered why i dont play DS that often, and i've got like 4 Reasons why i havent its just that i havent had the bravery to post them, my clan knows why, err well some of them anyways, and alot on my buddy list in DS.
1. The Lag
2. The harrassment because im FS
3. The Broken ships I.E Arc Bugs, Bomber Bugs what not
4. I've been horribly sick since July 2005
For the 4th reason, In June i've been starting to have some kind of Epileptical Seizure. i cant explain them but i get dizzy, i faint, i black out for 5 seconds then wake up with a horrid headache accompanied by Nausea, Vomitting, High Blood Pressure, I got it checked out 3 weeks ago, and i do have Epilepsi, my father had it, my grandfather had it, my half sister has it, my brother has it, my great grandparents had it and now i have it.
I dont know what Triggers it, but, i can tell you that flashing lights in game like explosions, Shield Flashes and Partical Cannon Explosion lag, also over excitement, Anger, and other stuff attributes to it. The Medication i take is Medezine, its for dizzyness, nausea and other stuff, it helps but after the effects wear off it hits bad like the 1999 Twister in OKC, Im sorry yall had to find out this way, i love DS, I love its community, and i most certainly Love playing the game its great, i've met alot of great gamers, especially jack  , Theres alot of great players here hehe anyways talk to yall soon

Dont feel sorry about your epilepsy problem, Im a idiopathic epileptic. In my case, its the lowest class. But remember to feel free to chat of it if you have any problems or tauths that tickles you.
And for those wondering why im playing videos game if im epileptic? Well, my category, Idiopathic, means that only certain stuff will cause a Seizure.
In my case, its a MIX of these symthomes could trigger a seizure: Stress, Very very tired, hunger and alcool. So strobes or flashy lights or screens doesnt affect me until now. I didnt took the treatement since i didnt had enough seizures but if it gets worst, il problably gona take the medication.

And last thing, please remember to not watch the Battling Seizure Robots

I had seizures in 4 ocassions, while studing I passed out and woke up later with no idea of what happened, during high school, at work and then at the emergency room.
That was back in 1988 and 1993 I was told to stay away from video games and such so I listened the same way I did when a dietition told me to stop drinking pepsi "in one ear and out the other" I cant stop playing video games I just be carefull about the flashing lights specially when I have a migraine "being a migraine sufferer for 21yrs now".
My seizures have not return since the treatment but im wary of it. So far im healthy and hansome as you can see only the migraines remain 
So I know how you feel, trust me.

Make sure you play games in a bright room(not a pitch black room) and sit back a bit from the moniter if possible. Keep your blood sugar level by eating protein every few hours and make sure to take a break ever hour or so by standing up and doing some laps around the house, or go for a quick walk outside.....these suggestions might help your gaming experience.

lol shine, the seizures have stopped, somewhat, i can still feel one coming on tho sometimes but, when i do that i go lay down, put on some Pantera and just zone out, OH! and i have a new cat too, i can play with it by throwing Catnip around lol

Damit, I just had a seizure last saturday. But this time it was due to my medication about a certain problem. I checked the medication info and found this. And for those who wounder, i did ran out of pills around a week and a half ago.

surprised possible death is not on the list....and I bet they have a pill for each of the symptoms, which each creates 10 more side effects =)
