i thought the cinematography was excellant, the music was great, the acting was better then in the series, and the story was of course excellent also. basically they took firefly and made it better. i'm just really sad about some of the things that happened in the film though, it made me cry -.-
quite possibly onea the best movies i've ever seen, certainly tops a lot of the crap that gets more attention then this film did these days.

Good film...
FFVII:Advent Children is/was better though in my opinion

Serenity was on a budget, and i dont think most cancelled TV shows get a motion picture to begin with, so its a miracle it even exists

Fracking INCREDIBLE movie!
I didn't like the series at all, but the movie hit on all the fine points that a quality movie that takes risks should & then some.
You don't like sci fi if you don't like this movie - and you're brain dead IMO  Well, that goes without saying for somea youse

Gah! Get over FF and talk about something meaningful.. or at least enjoyable!
Besides, unless you're comparing something substantive about the movies - ie, Serenity was good, but I thought that FF7 did a better job of explaining the backstory (ha!) which made the film more enjoyable for me (ha ha!) - there's not much point dropping the names of other films. Or, at the very least, say why you favor one over the other.

The movie was good. But Firefly sucked the acting in it was bad and the plot would jump from one thing to another. It got cancelled after one season lmao. But yeah thought the movie did alot better only thing tho is they should of have had more showing of the space battle.

I didn't Firefly was sucky at all... I liked how it jumped about... it was like a breath of fresh air for the SciFi genra... anyway I still watch it on the SciFi channel....

the reason the plot jumped from one spot to another is cause fox never bothered to show the series in the right order.
also, in my opinion the acting was better then a lot of other shows, where its either too much, too little, or just sucks at being enough.

The ending I mean, I'm so damn mad I could scream, and did for a minute or so...

I liked both the seriese and the movie, althoug I woul have preferd it if they made more...and maybe the plot jump around because they went to different parts of the galaxy...i mean look at ST:TNG it never was a real one-episod-leading-to-another-in-some-way-or-other unless it was a continuation.
