I'm on the school journalism staff, and I had the idea to fill our ledgers with little quotes that are comical at a glance, with possible deeper meanings and paradoxes, like "The optimist sees the glass half full, the pessimist see the glass half empty, and the engineer sees a glass twice as big as it needs to be" or "sometimes, the early bird gets frozen stiff".
I know how many of the people here hoard such things, and I would extremely grateful if anyone posted them here. Thanks in advance to anyone who donates.
