The new ATI 5.8 drivers are avaiable.

You need .net installed to allow the CCC to work (go to windows update on microsoft.com and download it first before downloading these)

Avaiable from:
http://www.driverheavendownloads.net/ati.htm
(they were released on DH a day before ATI)

The CCC puts .net to very good use, and its far easier to understand than the normal CP. Try it before you criticise

CLI.exe is taking up 1.7 mb's in my memory right now.

Memory whore what now?

Running it takes 28. Which is exactly what rundll.exe takes when I go into properties downstairs on the nvidia machine.

ATI have done a great job with the CCC, its much, much easier to understand than the whore Right click > properties > settings > Advanced > Nvidia > find right property you want to tweak...

ATI =

Right click > CCC > Find property you want to tweak.

I advise anyone running an ATI card and XP to install it.

Oh, and it works FLAWLESSLY....

Are we talking about the .Net stuff that you download from Windows Update that MSN loves so much or am I being a dumb bunny... that >net stuff MSN say they like to use as a security protocol dragged my HP down. I know it is not the fastest of the bunch but there was a noticable slowdown...

Well, the new 5.8 drivers signified that I have a motherboard memory access problem. Which is also causing the DS problems. So, ima need a new mobo before I can use em (sucks ass :/).
