ps, Incase your like me and run into probs with your mods bcus of lack of knowledge about modding here is how you access this mod on your comp.
DL the update
use Win Zipp and make sure the files go to your HW2 Data area.. basicly make sure your putting it in your hw2 folders.
Make a another short cut on you desktop for HW2..
go to the properties in that shorcut..
in the Target Line where you see the File path, type this after your file path: -overridebigfile -nomovies -luatrace
and then when you want to play this mod use the new short cut.

yeah i got the link. the version of it out now is v2.0 its been tweaked a bit. little more balanced.

Pete (Banshee) Actualy runs a multi-gaming clan, which has homeworld 2 as a supported game...dunno if people would be interested, if you are gimme a shout.

Yeah, PDS is one very good mod, we take the time to make sure we have all the major kinks out of it, but somehow something always gets through our fingers >.<
As for me im just part of the Dev Team that tests the new releases internally and does a little bit of Ship. File scripting from time to time, but yeah if you havent tried it, this mod is a definatly must to have if you like long drawn out battles and lots of fireworks.

HW2 STAR WARS MOD...the ai SUX though as empire....wont even build but a few fighters..as ALLIANE though...it will swarm you into oblivion if you let it

Another cool mod that I found for HW2 but havent really tried it yet... is www.dendezyn.net/affv4/ its pretty cool looking havent really tried it much.
Also TF your working on Dustwars thats awesome been watching that mod for a real long time lol, just wish someone would come out with a B5 mod and a startrek mod...

Agreed except you realize that all the B5 modders from the original Homeworld got hired by Relic to do Homeworld 2... Oops
I actually spoke on the phone to the Bumble who did the Cata B5 mod...
He didn't get hired lol maybe you should find him and start one.
And yeah I'm chiefly in charge of creating the Tobari Pirate Race for hte Karos Canyonland missions.
Oh and BTW, we actually do share some personell with the AFF mod
