Just posting an update on the mission system, to keep everyone up to speed on it's progress.

The low-level part of the mission system is done, which means the class which contains the mission logic has been finished.

There are 2 things remaining to be done before the mission system goes into beta testing.

Firstly, the interface for the mission system needs to be completed. This shouldn't require more than a day to implement.

Second, the design of the mission system will use a new Mission Server. This server coordinates/generates missions between multiple game servers, allowing missions to be created that span several metaverse systems. This server will create the missions based on strategic objectives to win the metaverse for that faction. Later, will come the ability for high ranking players to control these strategic objectives, thus the missions that are created to achieve them.

Will there be a prestige bonus for missions on metaverse? Something is needed to make people choose metaverse over the very fast instant prestige you get while scenario farming.
