If you think the lag was worse after yesterdays release, then your probably right.
In the effort to make things less laggy, I implemented a change to the network code to flush data after each send. The problem, is that this increased traffic because it caused send to be called more often, thus slowing the network connection for everyone. This has been addressed, now outgoing data will have more time to accumilate in the buffers before being sent.
Another lag issue, which existed before yesterdays update has been fixed by using more than 1 thread for updating all the open socket connections.
