Has been tweaked a little better... they shouldn't run into planets as often, except for the energy entity, which still has problems because of it's size.
Also, this applies to player ships as well, if you attempt orbit on a planet, but your going to fast, then your ship will attempt to turn and avoid collosion instead of driving right into the surface of the planet.

Why would I want to avoid the planet?
Are you telling me we're not supposed to crash into planets? I would load up my transport with 10 Veteran troops and go 'land' on a planet to quickly release them.. isn't that what happens in a "planet collision"? I just figured I was actually landing, but that whole "land on the planet and fight it out" mode hadn't been added to the game, so it just put me back at the ship selection screen...
I haven't been doing something wrong all this time, have I???????
