Beta was updated this evening.
Included was new engine codes... These are subject to change as some ships are going much faster than they we expected and others slower:
Our target goal is:
Scout: 35
Frigate: 30
Transport: 20
Engineer: 20
Destroyer: 25
Supply: 22
Cruiser: 20
Dread: 14
Station: 6
This update sees the following:
Scout: 34
Frigate: 38
Transport: 19
Engineer: 26
Destroyer: 30
Supply: 28
Cruiser: 27
Dread: 19
Station: 6
The math is computed based on number of engines and size of the ship. So this will be adjusted shortly and the ships speeds will be aligned closer to (but not exactly) the speeds listed as the goals in an update in the near future.
Factories have had all old devices removed and now only produce the new gadgets. There are a few errors in the layout, such as ICC and UTGO building cloaks though they can not use it. This will be addressed in the next update.
New slot system in place and all gadgets aligned to it. This is extreme beta and may be adjusted again in the near future.
