As of recently, I have had some information revealed to me as to what has been going on with the coding of v1.481. I cannot go into great detail, however there is some information that I can share with you.
Richard Lyle (aka, Faustus) has, unfortunatly, had other responsabilities come up for the last several months. I cannot go into detail as to what these responsabilities are. I can say, however, that this is no small thing, that it occupies a great deal of his time, and that he must fulfill these responcabilities. I can also say that he has little to no choice in this, and has been spending as much time as humanly possible working on coding for DarkSpace. For the last several months, he has been making major sacrifices on be half of DarkSpace.
He has not abandoned us, and is doing all in his power to push along v1.481 as fast as humanly possible. Towards this end, for the last month or so, he has wisely chosen to push back the major server and netcode changes, and instead concentrate on making what we need work within the context of what we have. This has sped up the process of finishing v1.481 enormously. No, I do not come here with an ETA on v1.481. I am not qualified to make such an ETA, as I have very little experience and knowledge in the realm of coding. However, this direction he is taking in his coding seems, to my eyes at least, to be one which should yield results relativly soon. This is not a prediction, just an opinion.
At any rate, wish your best to Faustus in this difficult time for him. If you are religeous, then send your prayers with him to give him strength. He is giving his all for us, and I will stand by him.
Anyways, I thought you deserved a status update as to the overall situation. This are going forward, even though it may not seem like it at times.

Well all i can say is good luck...
Would be fun to see a small part of the code * not important part * to see what the heck he has been typing and working in.. Gives us an idea of what he's going thru.
Keep it up F if you need a 30 min break take it there's no point in working when your exhausted

Well on that note I must apologize for being overly critical at times. Best wishes Faustus.

I think he needs to deal with RL first, instead of working ANY on 1481...he needs to get back to RL....sorry, my Opinion....
