The official annoucement on this is going to be released on Friday after the free Trial ends...
Basically, when players subscribe now, they can provide a UserID of another player who refered them to DarkSpace. That player, will receive a 7 day credit to their subscription for the referal (later, we may do promotions and make it 14 days for example). You cannot use your own UserID for a referal, and it can only be done once, it's not recurring.
So if you can bring 4 new players into DarkSpace a month, you'll basically get to play for free...
I've also made some changes with new account creation, including the addition of email validation. New players are asked to validate their email address by clicking on a link provided in the email. If you change your email address via the website, you will get a email as well asking you to validate your new email address. Soon, we will require a valid email address to make, admin, or join a clan and play the DEMO of DarkSpace.
