Celebrating over 5 years of competition posting handing out over 82 million credits, $15.00, and over a month in game time (when it was relevant) today we start our competition. The 14th competition will be our traditional number guessing and the 15th will be what started WKA competitions off and that will be posting the picture of the most interesting tattoo that you can find. 14th WKA competition.
Competition date: Now – Tuesday July 3rd 10:00PM EST (GMT-5)
Prize:
- 3rd place 5000 credits!
- 2nd place 7000 credits!
- 1st place 10,000 credits! $10.00 paypal payment.
- 50,000 credits $25.00 paypal payment to the person who guesses the exact number
ALL are welcome to play. This includes staff as well. Absolutely no one has the advantage in this competition. The answer will be safely stored and will not be handed out.
There are no rules, except what is listed in the description. Just try to stick to the content of the competition.
Your task if you decide to accept it is to choose a number between 1-100,000. The closest one to the number is obviously the winner.
RULES:
1.) There is only one entry allowed per person. If you choose more than one number you will be automatically disqualified. So you better hit that edit button before I see it if you make a mistake.
2.) You are not allowed to choose a number that someone else has already chosen.
3.) 1st place will be handed out to the person closest to the correct number. 2nd place goes to the second closest. 3rd, third closest.
To help boost the involvement a little this is how the prizes will be handled. The prize amounts will not change however if there isn’t a lot of involvement then fewer prizes will be handed out.
3rd place will be handed out no matter how many entries there are.
2nd place will require 20 entries.
1st place will require 35 entries.
If the amount of entries is not met then the award amount will be adjusted accordingly.
Also please keep all the unnecessary post reply chatter to a minimum as this will make my job a little easier in the end when trying to view them all. Good luck with the competition and if there are any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
I am always accepting donations both in credit form in Darkspace and in money form from donations made to Paypal. You can sent the Paypal payment to me directly at my email address challengerds@gmail.com
100% of the donations made will go towards the Darkspace competition and for accountability purposes if any donations are made I will post the donator and the amount in the competition forum post that is active. I will not post their names upon request.
On a side note, I know these type of competitions are silly but this way everyone in DS are able to compete.... new members, vets, high ranked, low ranked, lobby campers, everyone. If you do not like the competitions and do not want free credits then Sorry for the rant but I have heard complaints over the years about it.
