The famed explorer, Dr Cincinnati Bones, was recently found drifting in a runabout between the Luyten and Tripwik systems. It appears his ship, the Quark, was hit by a radiation flare while he was out in a scout ship investigating an anomaly. This flare caused the Quarks artificial intelligence to emergency jump into hyperspace. Unfortunately it appears that the flare damaged the Quarks guidance systems, leaving the ships AI lost, and the poor doctor stranded in his little scout ship with no way to get home.

Quite sensibly, Mr Bones, decided his best option would be to enable the emergency distress beacon on his runabout, and put himself into cryo-stasis until he could be rescued.

Thankfully, a couple of weeks ago, a deep space patrol came across the faint signal he was broadcasting, and after a few more days managed to track down his vessel.

Having been lost for several months, the doctor had finally arrived back at his home on Venus yesterday, and promptly issued a 5-million credit reward for anyone who is able to track down the location of the Quark, as well as the obvious prestige to be gained from helping out the poor doctor.

To claim the reward, simply post a sensor log of the lost vessel below.

Good hunting...

Mod Orbs are crazy fast and strong. Basically they are the police cars of the MV, able to get anywhere in a big hurry.

Now if I was in charge of this event, I would deny you your prize, or perhaps even deduct it, since the good doctor was obviously hoping to get his ship back.

Dr Bones realizes that the Quarks security systems may have been malfunctioning due to the flare. Unfortunately his insurance company insisted on proof of the ships destruction before they would pay out. the loss of this ship is regrettable, but under the circumstances he is able to accept it.

The relevant funds have been credited to Senior CharAznable's banking institution, along with a small (200 point) bonus to his prestige. We would also like to inform the aforementioned individual, that his starship insurance premiums have been taken care of for the next 14 days.
