ok, last new topic in the forums from me for a while, but i just have one other idea that i want to get out there.
I noticed that scouts and frigs are common in the admiral server, and get plenty of play, and lets all face it, in the MV cruisers and dreads rule. The ranks where you are resistricted to having your best ship be a dessie is quite breif and few of us really ever use them. I think this is unfair to the dessies and they deserve some action. So, i was thinking we could have a big three-way battle using nothing but dessies on all sides (and of course PDs and EDs are excluded from this, unless you guys want them in in their default set-up for anti-missile action). think of the speed, the manuverability, and the combat that doesnt get a critical hit, if not a kill, after just one alpha strike.
it could be fun.... anyone up for this one?

I dont see anywhere in his post where he says a Dread always pwns a Dessy. I take it as he is saying lets all leave are dreads docked for a day and have a massive dessie fight that way people who can't expeirence dreads can fight ships at the same class.
I am all for this but why stop at dessys? Lets do cruisers to and dreads if we can get enough people around.

should fight stock. no mods, no upgrades, no 20" spinner rims, spoilers, hydrolics, subwoofer, custom paint jobs, tinted windows, neon tracers, skid plates, turbo chargers, or 4-wheel drive.

the point i was trying to make here is that everyone is always claiming to be bored and tired of using their same old ships. well how many of us have really spent any large amount of time in a gunboat dessie? thats the point. lets try to use something new, without fear of an enemy dread just popping up and capping us in 2 seconds.... and i like the idea of cruiser day and dread day... but you forgot the best one.... STATION BATTLE DAY.... just 3-4 station from each side slugging it out.... NICE....

But i like my subs...how can u resist the pounding of 25 ft speakers? i mean my god, i can travle on one side of trip and be heard on the otherside...it's awsome!...and fyi...my hydrolics come stock on everyone of my ships...

About 99% of those ships in question being Destroyers.

Like I said, 99% dessies - I myself have a nice little modified missile dessy that I've used to dish out damage to entire fleets... while solo - all because of how bugged dessies are.

And thats our point - that a dread can never hope in its wildest dreams to take out a dessy single handedly without a good helping of luck on the dreads side & newbie on the dessies side.

See, now you're talking - because most people don't fly cruisers at all in the MV, and very few fly dreads anymore, except EADs, ADs, & Siphons - except those who fly Agincourts & Missile Dreads to spam the living crap out of the servers.
Look, not trying to come down hard on you its just that you're suggesting that for a special event everyone comes together on servers that are lagged to hell & back on a daily basis as it is, and they all use ships that A) Are bugged beyond belief to begin with and B) most of them use in the first place. Thats all I'm sayin... rethink the special event here buddy.
