A new twist was added to the mystery ship saga today, when a government source leaked classified surveilance footage in a quadrant-wide broadcast.
From the broadcast, the vessel appears to be of a very advanced design, and is a far cry from being the 'bucket of bolts' as claimed by Grand Admiral Shig R. Nafy when he was previously questioned.
This raises a whole series of new queries in regards to the origins of the ship.
As the vessel seems to be a completely radical concept in starship design, it is unlikely that any of the known pirate cartels have facilities capable of constructing a ship of this magnitude or complexity.
This brings a renewed speculation that this may be a previously undocumented K'Luth warship, although it does lack many of the common characteristics that are associated with thier organic based technologies.
Shig R. Nafy has been unavailable to comment on this latest development.
